Start making your plans for sea glass festivals in 2014. They’re a great place to see lots of sea glass, mingle with other sea glass lovers, and learn more about collecting sea glass.
Sea glass festivals are also an excellent place to buy and get ideas for crafts and jewelry.

Note: Some of the festivals later in year have not updated their information for 2014 yet; however, the festivals are usually at the same time each year, and I will keep updating information and details for this years’ festivals as they become available.
Festivals in February 2014
Spring Sea Glass Fair at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center
The spring Sea Glass Festival and vendor fair will be held at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center February 28th and March 1st. Click here for more details.
Festivals in March 2014
The Cayucos Sea Glass Festival will be held at the Cayucos Vet’s Hall at the foot of the Pier Saturday and Sunday on March 8-9, 2014.

The Eastern Shore Sea Glass and Coastal Arts Festival will be held at Ophiuroidea and in the Historic Mill in St. Michaels, Maryland. They have combined the Chesapeake Upcycled Art Festival with their Eastern Shore Sea Glass Festival.
The festival will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10am -4pm. For more information click here.

The Great Lakes Beach Glass Festival will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25, 2014 at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, PA.
Meet with the best beach glass experts and coastal artists. Bring your prized beach glass and you may win cash prizes or a gift basket.
Fort Bragg held its Fifth Annual Fort Bragg Sea Glass Festival last Memorial Day weekend.
According to a recent update, no sea glass festival is planned for 2014 unless there is enough interest. If you are an artist and would like to be a part of the Fort Bragg Sea Glass Festival, please email Captain Cass at firstname.lastname@example.org. If he gets enough interest, he will make the festival official.
Fort Bragg, CA–as you may know–is famous for its three ocean dump sites where the ocean tumbled and turned glass into beaches covered in sea glass.

Festivals in June 2014
Information about the Ashtabula Harbor Beach Glass Festival will be coming soon. This year it will be held June 28-29, 2014 on Bridge Street in Ashtabula, Ohio.
The Lewes Historical Society is proud to announce their sea glass festival to be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29, 2014, in the Historic Complex at Second and Shipcarpenter Streets in Lewes.

The Mermaid Tears Sea Glass Festival will be held on July 25th, 26th, and 27th in Souris, in Eastern Prince Edward Island, Canada.
